Marketing Manager - Multi-channel

Description

The marketing manager works in close collaboration with Extraprise’s clients’ marketing and sales managers, client marketing agencies, and other organizations and partners to create, build, pilot, and execute marketing programs focused on generating demand in our Boston offices. The marketing manager will implement Extraprise’s customer life cycle management approach to assist clients in acquiring new prospects, identify appropriate customers to be targeted, nurture them through the sales cycle, identify and deliver qualified leads to sales, and provide the appropriate communications to facilitate closing the sale. He / She will be responsible for the following activities:

  • Define and test the appropriate channels and techniques to drive inbound demand as well as manage a portfolio of data providers to help clients acquire relevant and accurate contacts / prospects.
  • Lead analysis projects focused on identifying the right customers and profiles for program inclusion.
  • Define the communication strategy for moving the prospect / customer through the sales cycle. The strategy must employ a multi touch approach, integrating channels such as email, digital, direct mail, phone, social media, web, mobile, etc. to engage the prospect / customer and provide relevant content and messaging.
  • Define the appropriate triggers, behavioral queues, learning objectives and qualification criteria that will be used to drive each subsequent communication.
  • Measure the program’s success and make the appropriate refinements to improve future performance. Refinements include, changes to the communication strategy, channels used, content, frequency, messaging, triggers, etc.

The marketing manager has extensive and recent experience implementing the life cycle marketing programs described above. He / She has a proven track record of success and has demonstrated measurable increases in customer engagement and pipeline results. He / She will bring expertise and leading practices for designing multi-channel programs. The senior marketing specialist will be a thought leader within Extraprise and bring credible expertise and advice to Extraprise’s clients and prospects.

The marketing manager will also support the streamlining and continual development of Extraprise’s marketing and business processes that are used to support its clients, as well as to coach, mentor, and lead other marketing specialists. The marketing manager will be proficient in the leading marketing automation tools and will advise Extraprise and client resources on the proper means to implement the programs within the tool(s).

Marketing Skills and Experience

The marketing manager has a strong background in demand generation campaigns and analytics, which includes having a strong familiarity with marketing concepts and campaign analysis. The marketing manager has:

  • Three to five years of marketing experience with a minimum of two with a marketing services provider
  • Current experience designing, measuring, and implementing multi-channel lead generation and nurturing campaigns
  • Current experience managing and measuring online lead generation campaigns
  • Working knowledge of SEO / SEM principles and techniques
  • Working knowledge of segmentation principles, including segmentation maps and criteria, and qualitative research fundamentals
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of professionals
  • Strong process definition skills
  • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel and Project
  • Experience with marketing automation and database marketing applications, e.g., Siebel, Eloqua, Aprimo, Unica, Alterian, Marketo

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
