With a unique combination of database marketing and demand generation expertise, they work closely with our clients to uncover actionable insights and to use that information to make fact-based decisions about marketing strategies, campaign development, and execution.

 

Kara Bertuch

Marketing Strategist

Kara has over 15 years of experience in the digital and database marketing industry supporting both B2B and B2C clients. She has designed and implemented technical and business process solutions for clients across a range of industries, including retail, travel, publishing (both online and offline), and high-tech. As a marketing strategist at Extraprise, Kara is responsible for leading delivery teams in the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of comprehensive database marketing solutions, and for the support of a client’s ongoing campaign management operations. She has extensive experience translating marketing goals into tactical plans and executable programs using a variety of technologies. Kara recently rejoined the Extraprise team after working as the Director of New Client Implementations for e-Dialog, where she led a team of solution consultants and developers dedicated to the successful on-boarding of new clients to the company’s proprietary platform. Prior to joining Extraprise in 2004, Kara worked at SIGMA Marketing Group as a marketing analyst, and for Acxiom as a client services representative. Kara holds a B.S. in Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University.


Karen Norris

Senior Marketing Specialist

Karen Norris is an industry award-winning, Senior Marketing Specialist with 25 years of expertise developing strategy and content for 85 multi-touch, multi-channel lead generation and lead nurturing marketing campaigns. At Extraprise, she provides hands-on management of all campaign design and execution details for clients as well as for her internal marketing team. Karen provides best practices input for messaging cadence, creative direction, copywriting and segmentation throughout the entire marketing lifecycle. She also defines campaign effectiveness metrics and optimization tactics. Prior to joining Extraprise, Karen spent 13 years with Canon-UBM as Director of Custom Marketing Solutions, leading an internal agency services group to support over 50 advertising clients within the B2B and B2C publishing space. Her time in that organization provided a wide range of experience in areas such as brand management, virtual and in-person events execution, email and direct mail campaigns, industry research studies, telemarketing, video production, website design, SEO/SEM, social media community building strategy and print and online media planning. Karen holds a B.A. in Psychology from New York University and is a certified user of Aprimo and Eloqua marketing automation tools.


Katia Susloparova

Senior Marketing Specialist

Katia is a senior marketing specialist at Extraprise responsible for managing the campaign execution activity for global software and pharmaceutical clients. She aids clients in identifying targeting and segmentation strategies to improve marketing campaigns, optimizing campaign processes, and utilizing industry best practices in developing and executing lead nurturing programs. She is also responsible for leading and developing a team of marketing specialists to ensure effective campaign operations delivery. In addition to her extensive campaign management capabilities, Katia also has a strong background in business analysis and analytics. She has been actively involved in the development and implementation of numerous database marketing solutions and has helped numerous clients derive insight from contact and campaign data to influence customer interaction strategies. Katia hold a B.S. in Marketing from Boston College.


Manirajan Mahalingam

Senior Technology Manager

Mani has over 20 years of experience in systems architecture, development and integration. He provides technical direction for architecture, development and integration for multiple client engagements. He applies his extensive experience to architect and build high efficient relational and analytical database systems to improve service to our clients. As a Senior Technology Manager, Mani’s responsibilities include: Create and execute development plans across multiple projects and revise to meet changing needs and requirements; keep stake holders well informed of development status across multiple projects; define, communicate and enforce system standards; manage multiple technical teams within project schedule; and assist in sales efforts from a technical perspective. Before coming to Extraprise in 2007, Mani was with Thomson Financial as Director Technology, successfully leading various database build efforts and system migration and integration efforts. Mani holds a M.Sc. (Masters in Science) from Madurai-Kamaraj University and M.M.S (Masters in Management Studies) from University of Bombay, India.


Michael Angell

Senior Technical Consultant

Mike has over 20 years of experience in project management, systems development and integration, and product delivery. He has developed and managed customer relationship marketing databases, prospect databases, and systems for various industries, including retail, automotive, fundraising, financial, travel, and pharmaceutical. He has experience with First Logic – now SAP Data Services, Group1, Oracle, SQL Server, Unica, SAS, Eloqua, Aprimo, and Alterian. As a senior technical consultant at Extraprise, Mike is responsible for technical support for his clients, from database/system design, build, availability, accuracy, integration, process improvement, product installation, and client satisfaction. Before coming to Extraprise in 2010, Mike was a principal at the Angell Group, LLC, and has worked as a technical services director at DMWData, sr. project manager for Equifax Marketing Services, plus over a dozen years as project manager, among other leading roles, at Epsilon. Mike holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Duke University as well as a PMP designation from the Project Management Institute.


David Tso

Senior Technical Consultant

David has over 19 years of experience in systems architecture, data warehouse architecture, database development, web development, application development, and systems integration.  He has architected and delivered large scale direct marketing and e-mail marketing database systems for clients in a variety of industries including retail, airline, financial, pharmaceutical, and automotive.  As a senior technical cosultant at Extraprise, David is responsible for architecting and building complex marketing solutions and integrating systems for our clients.  Prior to joining Extraprise, David worked as an associate director of technology at Merkle, successfully leading various database build efforts.  He has also held the roles of technical manager at e-Dialog, senior database developer at Harte-Hanks, and senior web and application developer at Viant Corporation, Hewlett-Packard, and Deloitte & Touche Consulting Group.  He is a certified Microsoft SQL Server Product Specialist and Systems Engineer.  David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Systems Engineering and a Minor in Mathematics from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
