London, 1st October 2002 - Extraprise, the international technology consulting company specialising in Customer Relationship Management (CRM), today announced the appointment of Mark Green as Financial Services Business Development Manager.
The appointment follows restructuring of the company earlier in the year in response to increased demand for consultancies with specific vertical expertise, particularly in financial services and Telco and Utilities. "The financial services sector was an early adopter of operational CRM technologies and is now considering how best to enhance that investment", said Kim Gray, Vice President, Financial Services, Extraprise. "Analytics and Business Intelligence in particular are both anticipated to be of tremendous benefit to the financial sector. Analytics can address key needs across the Investment Banking sector and by enabling detailed customer profiling to be carried out, Business Intelligence will be an important technology for insurance companies. Extraprise already has an extensive financial services client base and this appointment puts us in a strong position to capitalise on new opportunities in this marketplace."
Mark has over 15 years of CRM experience within Investment Banking and joins from Deutsche Bank, where he was global head of CRM product for Equities. He will primarily focus on growing Extraprise's financial services client-base, which already includes ABN AMRO, American Express, Barclays Bank, Finansbank, Gerrard, GE Capital and Nomura.
"Extraprise is an exciting place to be right now. The finance sector has always been interested in finding intelligent ways of using technology to maintain competitive edge and I'm delighted to be working for a forward-thinking company that understands the needs of the industry from both a cultural and a technological perspective," said Mark Green, Financial Services Business Development Manager.
Prior to the six years he spent at Deutsche Bank, Mark worked at numerous investment houses over a ten-year period, as a consultant within his own firm covering IT project management, market data systems and large relocation projects.
