Extraprise Appoints new Head of European Marketing Automation and Analytics Practice

London - 10th November 2003 - Extraprise®, the international technology consultancy specialising in Customer Relationship Management (CRM), today announced the appointment of Andrew Bowers to lead its Marketing Automation and Analytics practice in Europe. In this role, Bowers will manage pan-European client engagements involving data warehousing, customer analytics, business intelligence, and marketing automation.

Bowers has more than 14 years of experience in implementing business intelligence (BI) solutions, most recently as a Managing Consultant with Unilog UK. He was also Practice Director of Business Intelligence at marchFIRST. During an eight-year career at Oracle, Andrew held the positions of Principal Consultant, where he gained full life-cycle experience of implementing BI solutions at over 30 clients, and later as a Client Services Manager focused on retail customers. He began his career in 1989 as a business analyst for British Petroleum.

Extraprise's Marketing Automation and Analytics practices are expanding rapidly in the Americas and Europe. Many Extraprise clients are implementing systems in these areas to ensure that they receive the maximum value from their existing investments in marketing, sales, and service. Marketing automation and analytics were two of a handful of software and services segments to show growth in 2002. Industry research firm MetaGroup, forecasts the market to continue to grow between 5 - 10% this year.

Bowers will manage the practice from Extraprise's European headquarters in London. He will also work closely with the company's technology partners, including Siebel Systems, E.Piphany, SPSS, and Alterian.
