We currently have openings for Marketing Strategists in California and Massachusetts. The role involves working with the client, marketing agencies, and other core partners to manage the database marketing activities for select clients. The Marketing Strategist will have account management responsibility for assigned clients and will supervise the Extraprise team to coordinate delivery of contracted services.
The marketing strategist is responsible for:
Assisting clients with the preparation of marketing / database marketing strategies and tactics
Leading analytic / business insight projects
Analyzing campaign performance and preparing recommendations for improvement
Supervising the activities of the Extraprise team
Maintaining a marketing calendar and staffing plan
Preparing status reports and conducting status meetings
Providing marketing operations support for assigned clients
Monitoring processes and preparing recommendations for improvement
Troubleshooting and providing problem resolution support
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have 7 - 10 years of database marketing experience and will be skilled at turning data into insight, insight into marketing strategies, and marketing strategies into campaigns. Experience with marketing automation tools and database marketing solutions is required. Previous work experience at an agency or marketing services provider is a plus.

Candidates must possess the following skills:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, engineering, or related quantitative field, plus 7-10 years relevant work experience
Working knowledge of segmentation principles, including segmentation maps and criteria, and qualitative research fundamentals
Knowledge of database applications
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to work with diverse group of professionals
Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel and Project
