Job Description:

We currently have an opening for a Senior Marketing Specialist at our corporate headquarters in Boston and in California.  The candidate will lead a team of  marketing specialists and support ongoing relationship marketing efforts for a major client.  The role involves working with marketing agencies and other core partners to finalize segmentation business rules and manage marketing campaigns.  The Senior Marketing Specialist will be accountable for quality and timeliness of all marketing campaign execution on a daily basis and for streamlining internal campaign management processes.  The candidate will manage the day-to-day questions from marketing specialists involving how to translate marketing plans into detailed program specifications, applying business logic to segment customer lists, and developing strategic and ad-hoc reports for management.  He/she will also support the continual development of more effective business processes and support changes in segmentation and fulfillment logic.

In addition, if possible the candidate should be familiar with marketing and analytics and have a strong analytical marketing background.  The Senior Marketing Specialist should be comfortable identifying technical and data issues and informing the appropriate teams of issues found. Candidate also should be very familiar with high-level marketing concepts and financial analysis.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Manage forecasting tool and process
  • Monitor system performance and program efficiency
  • Maintain source code system

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field, plus 5-7 years relevant work experience and/or technical training
  • Working knowledge of segmentation principles, including segmentation maps and criteria, and qualitative research fundamentals
  • Working knowledge of database applications
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work with diverse group of professionals
  • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel and Project

Desired Skills:

  • Prior exposure to Siebel software or other CRM applications is a strong plus
  • Experience with marketing and lead generation campaigns
