The hardware and software platform includes a new comprehensive B2B data model, e-mail campaign integration, an integrated client support system, and an enhanced security profile.

The i2i platform is a unique approach to help companies manage customer data, develop better insights, and use this information to increase the value of each customer interaction. The i2i approach enables clients to consolidate multiple customer data sources, segment customers by value, develop predictive models, manage demand generation campaigns, and automate their operational systems across customer channels. With Insight-to-Interaction, Extraprise is the first database marketer to solve the "last mile problem" by getting fresh leads and marketing insight into the hands of employees that can use them to generate more revenue and increase customer satisfaction.

The latest release of the Extraprise database marketing platform includes a comprehensive B2B model created using an advanced dimensional modeling methodology. The platform is supported by a conceptual, logical, and physical data mode that spans both the company's data mart and analytical database. Clients may customize the conceptual model and Extraprise will produce an optimized logical data model for them as both a star schema and relational view. Extraprise can automatically produce physical data models for its standard SQL Server data mart, its Alterian analytical database, and other relational database products.
Release 2.0 also includes integration with an enterprise e-mail campaign system from Epsilon Interactive. Extraprise has integrated this DREAM e-mail software with its data mart for seamless response handling. In addition, Extraprise has implemented a sophisticated client support system using technology from salesforce.com. The system includes a role-based ticketing system and integral escalation logic. Release 2.0 also enables clients to log and track issues by providing:
- Licensed users access into the system to create a new support case
- Access to a self-service portal that automatically creates a case
- A mechanism to send an e-mail to a standard support address and enabling an e-mail-to-case agent to automatically create a case
The new release also includes an improved security profile including encryption of all sensitive data prior to tape backup, and communications using a virtual private network (VPN) operating through a secure sockets layer (SSL) tunnel via hardened Citrix gateway appliances. As part of Release 2.0, Extraprise also implemented new security protocols including a new security incident response policy compatible with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) guidelines. All Insight-to-Interaction platforms are hosted at a high availability, high security data center managed by AT&T and Extraprise.
